JustSolve was founded in 2016, with the mantra of writing the least amount of code possible to solve the problem at hand. Since then, we’ve mastered our craft and developed our values.

As a company, we strive to provide our clients with exceptional digital solutions as well as build a workplace for our employees (the Solvers) to thrive.
2016
Opening our doors.
Founded by Botha van der Vyver, we opened for business in 2016 with a team of just 5 Solvers. Our first year marked the beginning of our long-standing partnership with OutSystems, allowing us to use a combination of low-code and pro-code development to rapidly deliver innovative software solutions to our growing client base.
2017
Rapid expansion.
This year brought tremendous growth as we doubled both our team and our client base. Seeing the need for human-centred design in the software development process, we firmly established our UX/UI practice and began sharing our expertise with the next generation of talent through our first graduate intake.
2018-2019
Transitioning.
As we continued to grow, we expanded our service offerings to include agile delivery and business analysis. We refined our brand identity and updated our logo to reflect our commitment to innovation, growth, and progress. During this time we continued to hone our expertise in the healthcare, automotive, and telecommunication industries.
2020
Embracing remote work.
The COVID-19 pandemic didn't slow us down. We grew even stronger, adding more Solvers and clients to our organisation. This year, we fully embraced remote work and said goodbye to our offices.
2021
Crossing the chasm.
We made a big leap forward by securing our first international client based in the Netherlands. With growing projects and Solvers, we established clear practices and assigned leaders to drive JustSolve forward.
2022
International recognition.
We were the first partner in Africa to be awarded the ‘UX/UI Competency Badge’ from Outsystems, recognising our expertise in human-centred design. We also received the OutSystems ‘Business Impact Award’ in collaboration with our client, Life Health Solutions, recognising the impact our work made within the healthcare industry.

Throughout our seven-year journey, we've navigated challenges, gained valuable insights, and emerged stronger than ever before. JustSolve, led by our CEO, stands proudly as an industry expert and thought leader in the accelerating digital transformation with software, supported by our team of 60+ Solvers.

We are a remote-first company. In our experience, this is the most efficient way to build digital products, allowing each Solver to work where and when it works best for them and the team. Our team is principally based in South Africa, but we have Solvers collaborating across different continents.

Our founder and CEO, is a passionate advocate for digital transformation. Having been a software developer himself and with over 20 years of experience within the industry, he is dedicated to empowering business leaders to deliver quality software more efficiently. Bridging the pro-code and low-code gap through the JustSolve way.
COO
Jacobus brings over 20 years of experience in both the financial and IT industry. With an astute ability to establish business relationships and deliver impactful results. He’s got world-class insights into the technological, legal and business frameworks we work in everyday, adding great value to JustSolve and our clients.
